self-motivated sales professionals in various locations to work for one the
UK’s leading forklift companies in the materials handling industry. With huge
growth over the last few years, this company offers its Area Sales Managers
fantastic commission opportunities along with great career progression and room
for development.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will be covering
specific postcodes in your area, selling the companies range of forklift
vehicles to a varied client base. As well as being provided with existing
accounts which you will be expected to develop further, you will also be
expected to actively seek new business opportunities, developing the business
in your specified region. Although the company do outsource is telemarketing in
order to provide its sales man with leads you will also be expected, to some
extent to generate your own leads also.
The Company
The company are an international manufacturer and supplier
of forklift trucks, thus operating in the material handling industry.
Originally American based, its share of the UK market has grown significantly
over the last ten years and as a result the company now require a number of new
sales professionals to continue its phenomenal sales success. With further
expansion, there are great prospects for progression opportunities for the
right individuals. Whilst running as a large corporation, the UK operations are
still run with a core of people who have worked there a long time, ensuring
continued support and the right kind of environment.
Requirements
·
Experience in either Material handling/forklifts
highly desirable
·
Experience in a related industry e.g. cranes,
earth moving equipment, plant hire etc.
·
Hungry and self-motivated to develop business
·
Able to work well on own initiative
